I2C busy flag reset by stop?

Hi,

I'm using a STM32F103 device.

According to the manual the I2C busy flag is cleared by hardware after detecting a Stop condition.

Does anyone know if this is correct? I wonder for this specific situation:

Master transmitter receives NACK -> Ack Failure Interrupt - Generate Stop condition in the ISR.

Will the busy flag be cleared?
