IAD (Interface Association Descriptor) should be applied to bind the interfaces on the original class, when it comes up in a composite device together with another interface(s).

By the USB spec, Audio may bind with other interfaces without IAD. But without IAD, Windows seem to allow limited classes of additional interfaces, such as HID.
