Dear sir,

I'm using stm32f4discovery board with DM-STF4BB Base Board and DM-LCD35RT 3.5 inch LCD with touch screen. You can look for details in

http://www.embedinfo.com/

. Now I need to use your STemWin product with this hardware set up. It would be very helpful if you can tell me what modifications should be done in your STemWin product so as to use it with stm32f4 discovery board.

Thanking you in advance...

With Regards,

Tapabrata Sen

Well I suspect you'll need to port a suitable FSMC based screen driver for your display, and port the STM3240G-EVAL examples. You should have the examples already ported to the STM32F4-DIS-BB, so you could compare/contrast those with other STM3240G-EVAL examples to understand the differences.

ST should be releasing an STM32F429-Discovery board with an LCD in a month or so here.

If people wanted to get me interested in porting this stuff they could send me boards and screens.

That's a great news. Looking forward to the release of stm32f429 discovery board. The manual you referred says STemWin library includes LIN driver for stm32f429 tft-lcd controller. I hope that the available examples will work on this new discovery board too.

As I mentioned in the previous mail that I'm using stm32f4discovery-BB board and TFT LCD from Embest technology, I've configured all the modules with the help of a stemwin example as far as I understood. But now the display goes on blinking continuously whenever I run my program. Can someone suggest me what could be the problems I need to look back again???
