I think it is not a problem of Win7.
I have the same problem here. I Generate a DFU file with the DFU file manager.
Programming with DfuSe Demo works without problems. But when comparing the program crashes.
When I download the program from the STM32F407 device, then does the comparison.
In DFU file manager I use the parameter read by DfuSe Demo.
VID: 0483
PID: DF11
Version: 2200 (Question: Where in the data sheets I find the correct PID and version number?)
Target ID: 00 Internal Flash
