Question about L6470H

I'm writing to ask about function of L6470H.

L6470H provide variation function about phase current control. (Ex, Running/Holding/Acc/DecCurrent control, PWM frequency variation)

If I use this chip, I have to verify about these function. But I don't know how to verify this function.

So please give me the advice how to verify these function. If i don't need to verify it, also please give me the advice about why I don't need to verify it.
