I compiled the micro STM32F05k4U6 using the IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM 6.40.2 and I get a binary

When I tried to program the binary using the STM32 ST-Link Utility the binary gets download but when I power up the board the binary is not really loaded.

I think must be some property in the IAR Embedded Workbench that must not be well configured.

Best regards,

Estanis

Hi

Yes, this one use to catch me out all the time.

In IAR, they provide a simulator, it is the default target!

Make sure under targets, you select the ST-link as the target debugger (not the simulator).

Hi

''Do you have some example of IAR embededd project properties I can see?''

Unfortunately not at the moment, the company I work at now uses Atollic (I do not recommend it!).

I believe there are many IAR projects in the standard peripheral Library

Hi

OK, so I have my laptopn now and have grabbed this screen shot for you.

Select the debuger option in left pane.

In the debugger tab (right pane) - in the 'Driver' drop down list - select the ST-Link (instead of simulator)
