Posted on November 13, 2013 at 21:16 Has anyone managed to connect a ULINK2 (or other JTAG debugger) to the STM32F429 Discovery using CN2, if so, how?
Yes, I know the Disco comes with a ST LINK V2 interface, and that works just fine, for now. But, eventually I want a board made up with 2 F429�s + other components, so will need to use the ULINK.
I have linked SB10 (to hold the STM32F103C8T6 (ST LINK CPU) in Reset) and SB9 to connect T_SWO to PB.3 but still get the message SWD communications error when I try to get the ULINK to connect to the F429. The jumpers on CN4 are on. I can connect the ULINK to a STM32F103 without any problem.
