I am using STM32F429 Discovery board with custom base board with VGA DAC. Everything is working, but it looks this chip has some limitations I could not find in the tech docs - 640x480@60Hz runs only in 16-bits modes (for example RGB565) and 800x600@60Hz runs in 8-bit modes (L8 or AL44)
Is there any documentation that describes maximum color depths for different resolutions?
