Good morning,

we are looking for an configuration for our application LED driver.

We are taking a look among your AN, for L6562 designing in buck-boost config.

In the AN3111, at pg8, there is a not clear equation (equation 9). Wich is the value of Vpk? If Vpk is the value of the peak of Vin, the result of the equation 9...=108 is not clear.

For more details, read the files in attached.

Thank you for attention,

best regards,

Eng.C.Ammatuna.

Good afternoon,

Your assumption is wrong.

You can see other open source

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Form_factor_(electronics)

You can calculate Vave in the other way:

Vin

=120

VAC

Vpk

=1.4142

Vin

=169.7

VDC

Vave=0.637Vpk=108.1 VDC

Where you see a mistake?

Good luck!
