Error: Using CubeMx to Generate Project for STM32F429

Hi all,

I used STM32CubeMx to generate project for stm32f429, a .ioc file(v510.ioc) was generated(see the attachment). The Keil MDK was collapsed when opening the project V510.uvproj. Why? Did ST had any example(ioc file) to provide for STM32F429I-DISCOVERY or other EVAL?

Thinks a lot!

Honestly, I'm staying away from CubeMx for the time being.

I get your file V5ioc, opened in my STM32CubeMX (software version MX.4.0.0, firmware version FW.F4.1.1.0) and generated the code. Project file (V5uvproj) was successfully opened in uVision4 (v.4.0), but linked with error (see attached file).

Neither did I try any CubeMX project yet, nor Keil uVision.

But your linker error is indicating a source file is missing, implementing the named functions. This might have to do with backporting the project.

I would try adding the required source file manually to the project.

zesgen,

Really, I used uVision4 (v.4.72.10.0) too, I'd try it again.

  Thank you!

Fm, Thanks!

Maybe ST could provide the its .ico file with it's STM32F429I-DISCO just like TI always did.

What's wrong with me?

It's a Google Drive share, the service might have regional limits, should be fine in North America and Europe.

I'll attach it here, I got these at an F429 Seminar

Attached is the same file that you can use directly in STM32CubeMX 4.0 with the STM32CubeF4 firmware.
