Nasty bug in latest CubeMX (include dirs)

Posted on February 01, 2018 at 12:40

Hello,

STM32CubeMX version: 4.24

STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32L4 Series 1.11.0

Since this version CubeMX when generating the project, does something really bad to the include files it is generating. Here is a screenshot from Truestudio:

Please see how the include directories generated by cube are grayed out. Truestudio/ Eclipse does not see them anymore, so the includes from those files are not visible, making it impossible to build. This problem did not occur in previous Cube version. The only way to fix this is to import the project to a new location, because Truestudio is somehow remembering this in the workspace. I would appreciate all help and info regarding this.

PS: Is it possible to download versio 4.23.0? It is not visible on the website.

Do you remember your previous generation settings from v 4.23?

Especially, copying library files to project vs. linking to the Cube repository?

Did this change after 4.24 update?

Yes, the settings were to copy all files and this did not changed after 4.24.

The files are physically there, its just that the IDE does not see them for some reason. I cannot figure out why some folders are visible, and some are not.
