STM32L152 rtc battery

The STM32L152 is working. Also the external 32KHz is driving the rtc. If I connect a battery to VBAT pin the oscillator stops working if main power go down. There is also no current from battery to VBAT. In running mode there are some µA.

Is there a config bit to switch on the battery power ?

Does the STM32L152 have a VBAT pin? Are you talking about the DISCOVERY board? Have you made the modifications mentioned in the manual? The LSE should definitely keep ticking if you enter STANDBY.
