Does anyone have an .ioc file that can be used as a base project in STM32CubeMX to generate a project for STM32F429ZIT DIscovery evaluation board ?

Thanks

Kartik

I've been asking for the same this in my posts about 3 weeks earlier, but without any luck from ST.

Hi Kartik,

Are the files attached to

https://my.st.com/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/cortex_mx_stm32/DispForm.aspx?ID=39308&RootFolder=/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/cortex_mx_stm32/Error%20Using%20CubeMx%20to%20Generate%20Project%20for%20STM32F429

what you are looking for?

Nic D,

What I understood from your request in

https://my.st.com/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/cortex_mx_stm32/Flat.aspx?RootFolder=/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/cortex_mx_stm32/STM32CubeMX%20Project%20files%20for%20STM324xG-EVAL

is that you are looking for IOC files related to eval board, not discovery one, isn't the case?

Hi Mayla,

Thanks a lot for the file. I think this is what I'm looking for. I will give it a try.

Thanks

Kartik

Hi Mayla,

Exactly! Is there anyway I can get the IOC file for the evaluation board?

Thanks,

Nicholas

When you start CubeMX, click ''New Project'' and click ''Board Selector''. There is an entry for the STM32F429-Discovery Board.

sorry, should be ''STM32F429I-Eval''.

Ahh... this must have been a new addition, as this tab didn't exist in the original release of STM32CubeMX.

I see the IOC for the STM32F429I-Eval has the ethernet disabled, but the actual evaluation PCB (which I have on my desk) has it very much enabled and running and using LWIP - so am a bit confused as to what this file is representing.

Any ideas?
