Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has signed up for this workshop? I signed up with about 4 others but we're not sure if it's still happening or not? These events need at least 8 attendees to go ahead and we can't get any response from ST about it.

Not signed up but might be interested. Do you have a link to what the workshop entails?

sure, I got an invitation through email presumably by ticking a box somewhere when I signed up for this forum, but registration is open to everyone

I had written a response to this earlier, but the forum errored out on me, and totally ate it.

If it's anything like the US seminars it's going to be mostly a power-point card deck, the installation of the IAR/Keil Eval of the day, and some compile and try exercises. Yabber with the local reps and FAEs, etc. I can send you the card deck from the last L1 series seminar (L152 DISCO + RF EEPROM), email sourcer32@gmail.com

I have a F401 seminar here a the end of the month, the last F429 one had about 30-40 attendees, and the people I've been talking too really want an L0 Cortex-M0 seminar.

While I find these events useful, and a good place to network, I wouldn't travel vast distances, or book a hotel to attend. Mind you 45-60 minutes driving in the US Midwest can get you quite a way, compared to my experience in the UK. That you couldn't get >8 attendees from a university town like Manchester is a bit odd, isn't

ok, sounds good to me. I've since had an email back from the organisers and thankfully it is going ahead. Me and couple of other students/just-graduates are getting a train down from York at least.
