hi, i'm going to make my own dsp board with a stm32f407vg.

i developed my firmware on a stm32f4 discovery and so i'm tryng to reproduce the part of that board i need on my custom pcb.

as well as connect the pin of vdd vcap vss, and connect the oscillator a have you some hint to make a correctly working board?

do i need something particular like strange pull ups or capacitors?

to program the board trough an another sm32f4 i'm connecting two pins of port a to swdio and swdclk, i need pullups or something else on that pins?

thank you for your help,

giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

Here is the

http://www.st.com/web/catalog/tools/FM116/SC959/SS1532/PF252419?sc=internet/evalboard/product/252419.jsp

, where you can find the STM32F4 Discovery board, for the STM32F407/417 MCUs. It includes everything related to hardware resources required, such as Board Manufacturing Specification and  Schematic Pack documents, that may help you to go on with you own PCB.

Regards,

Heisenberg.

thank you Heisemberg!

i recommend  to take special care of BOOT0 and BOOT1 pins, the two VCAPs, NRST, SWDIO e SWDCK. also put a lot of good bypass capacitors.
