stm32f303 debugger is not working

.

controller

doesnt

 power up with

usb

 connection with

laptop but

when

i

supply external supply of 3v it powers up but debugger still not working

.

what

could be the fault

?

Hi

Might be one of these :

Bad USB cable

Broken USB port on PC

Bad USB connector on STM32 board

ST-Link on STM32 board damaged.

I do not think you have conclusively proved it is the debugger that is at fault.

The ''stm32f303'' is just a STM32F3 embedded processor. I did not find a specific

evaluation board for this part - so I do not know what debugger you are referring to.

Is a ST-Link (in a little white plastic case)

Ok, so what boards is this, which USB connection are you using, and what debugger are you talking about?
