hi,Enrico Poli

I just bought a EVAL6472-DISC board from local distributor, can i program the mcu(STM32F105) on the board through JTAG interface? And after i flash the mcu,can it still use the dSPIN evaluate software?

Wait for your answer,thanks 🙂

Hi,

Yes. You can write your own firmware into the board MCU both through SPI or the DFU function (see user manual for details).

When you write a new firmware you also remove the USB management required for the interfaccing with the SPINFamily software. If you want to use the evaluation software again you need to recover the original firmware.

Attached the latest version of this firmware.

Enrico

What about the EVAL6470H-DISC board? Is the firmware the same, or can you provide it? Thanks.

Hello Richard,

Yes. You can use the same firmware for the EVAL6472H-DISC.
