Hi

I'am using the STM32F103ZE controller in my application. I would like to programm the controller over CAN, after I load a small bootloader in the Flash via USART 1.

I saw that the STM32F107xx of the Connectivity Line already include such a bootloader for CAN.

Those any one knows, if this bootloader exist also as source code, like the AN2557 for the USART bootloader and I can ''plug-in'' this code to my programm.

sincerly

Hi andem2,

I don't think so. In USART case you just need an RS232 cross cable and the IAP firmware to do the programming.

However if you aim to program your internal Flash through CAN, for sure you will need an extra Bridge as an interface to your PC (for sure no CAN connectors on your PC :-[ ).

I think if that exist it should be developed around a specific CAN-PC Bridge.

I guess it's the case also for CAN bootloader in connectivity line devices.

Cheers.

Hi andem2,

did you find any sources or other solutions?

I am heading exactly the same problem at the moment. So I would be very interested in any informations about this issue.

Here's something although it is for a different chip family:
