STM32L052 changing battery

Hello friends.

I'am working on a project using STM32L052 and Nokia5110 display. It is a temperature controller. It will utilize RTC. It will work from two AA batteries.

The question is what is the best way to change the batteries (two AAs) so that it would not be necessary to set RTC after this change.

Is there any solution without additional battery?

Hi Alexander,

I got the same problem. It is a great pity, that there is no external battery input for the STM32L0. Because of this I had to change to an external RTC, which I power from a big capacitor, when there is no battery plugged.

I am also open for a better solution!
