ST Link V2 Firmware Problem

Hello,

I have updated firmware version of ST Link V2 on my STM32F4 Discovery board, but after this programmer does not work. I have an external ST Link V2 with firmware version ''V2.J14.S3 STM32+STM8 Debugger'' and he is working corectly. You have access to the same internet, and search engines as I do... The firmware upgrades contain multiple images, as far as I'm aware, and it offers a compatible one for your device. If you can't find a workable firmware within those cited earlier, you have much bigger problems.

Embedded ST Link V2 was working correctly before update. 

I find original version of program for ST Link V2. Problem?Best Regards,CH

Are you sure the problem is with the debugger's firmware, and not with code you have loaded on the device.

You can use ST-LINK Utilities, use options like Connect Under Reset, and erase user code on the device. You can also strap BOOT0 high so it boots into the System Loader instead of user code. Consider also if you have current drivers, and ST-LINK Utilities, and those are used by your tool chain.

Do you use Keil MDK?

There is a known incompatibility with the latest ST-Link V2 firmware. The workaround is available here

He's claiming none of the archaic firmwares ''work'', whatever that means in this context.

I don't think going back to some specific, and very old firmware, just because another board that's working has it, really goes to the root cause as to why this BOARD is not working.

I use:

 Win 8.1 CoIDE and CoFlash ST Link Utility STM32F4 DiscoveryAll drivers are installed correctly. After firmware update, I can not programming STM.I use two PCs and two STM32F4 Discovery boards. Do You know where I can download original version ST Link V2 program or not?
