Hello.

I am new in ARM development and I am trying CooCox. I want to buy a debugger and I would to know if I will be able to use ST-LINK/V2 with CooCox.

Thanks in advance.

Since AFAIK, the integrated ST-Link on the discovery boards is basically a scaled-down version of the standalone debug pod, I would expect Coocox to support it, at least SWD mode.

But I would ask that question on the Coocox forum, too.

Thanks for your reply. I will not use a discovery board.

I will not use a discovery board.

That's what I understood.

ST sells a separate debug pod as ''ST-Link''. The integrated version in the discovery board is obviously derived from that one, both are using the same firmware.

But since Coocox supports several discovery boards, I expect it to support the standalone ST-Link too, at least in SWD mode.

Hi rodrigues.edson,

CooCox toolchain supports ST-Link/V2 Debug Probe.
