Does anyone know the status of mBED development route? Are people using it? I looked at a site that showed how to use it and it looked similar to Arduino code.

Just looking at the options since the SPL is not going to be supported going further.

Hello,

I think the choice to use mbed depends on your needs and

...

As I know, SPL is not supported but you can use HAL drivers with mbed.

You can have a look on

https://docs.mbed.com/

,

https://developer.mbed.org/cookbook/Homepage

for more details about supported features.

To cite from an article about a (ARM Cortex M) multi-vendor meeting, no one is using MBED commercially, i.e. there is no commercial project.

IMHO the idea of an online-compiler already repels a company (I'm aware that offline tools do exist as well).
