Hello guys,

I have LIS3DH module on my board and I plan to replace it since it is becoming obsolete.

Would you like to let me know what would be the most appropriate replacement for LIS3DH? (pin compatible, register compatible...)

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

Sincerely,

Bojan.

I can see on Mouser site that '

Manufacturing delays have been reported on this product.

' (LIS3DH, LIS2DHTR). Somebody share with me what is going on, please ?

Perhaps you should try calling a local sale office for ST Micro?

Tips, buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal Venmo Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

That is OK, Clive, I will call. What about the appropriate replacement for LIS3DH? Do you have some suggestion for me ?

Thanks

Centauris.Alpha

Your suggestion seems overqualified and more expensive than LIS3DH. I need the replacement of the same pricing/performance level.

How about

http://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=497-14851-6-ND

? Any experience with this module ?

Other than that, I wonder why the majority of ST's accelerometer units are out of stock on DigiKey and Mouser sites. Can somebody tell us what is going on? Should we search for some other supplier ?

Thanks in advance,

Bojan.

Any news on this?

Mouser calls the part OBSOLET!

http://www.mouser.ch/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=0virtualkey0virtualkeyLIS3DH

But st.com writes ACTIVE:

http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/mems-and-sensors/accelerometers/lis3dh.html

Update:

The new partnumber of LIS3DH seems to be LIS3DHTR

http://www.mouser.ch/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=0virtualkey0virtualkeyLIS3DHTR

Come on STmicroelectronics, a part-number-change-post would be helpful!

LIS3DHTR is not new part number. The sufix TR means packaing in Tape and Reel.
