In application note AN4355, overcurrent detection page 18 and stall detection page 21, application note writes two equations

Equation 1: I

OCDth

= V

OCDth

 R

ds(ON)

Equation 2: I

STALLth

= VSTALLth Rds(ON)

Why current is equal to voltage times resistance?

should be use divide sign I

OCDth

 = V

OCDth

  R

ds(ON)

How should I calculate overcurrent I

OCDth

 ?

for an instance, by default, I

OCDth

is 281.25mV, and external MOSFET R

ds(ON)

 is 33m?, what is I

OCDth equal to ?

Thank you in advance

You are right, the formulas of the AN are wrong.

The actual relation betwee programmed threshold and current is I

OCDth

= V

OCDth

÷ R

ds(ON)

The typo will be fixed in the next release of the AN. Thanks a lot for your feedback!
