Hello,

I read the following article in the NFC Forum website:

http://nfc-forum.org/nfc-v-just-got-better-heres-how/

I have a question regarding the NFC TAG M24LR Series from ST.

The M24LR Series is considered NFC Forum Type 5? In the page of

http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/mmc/FM76/CL1766/SC1412/SS851?icmp=ss851_pron_m24lr-pr1_jun2014&sc=m24lr-pr1

does not say about NFC Type 5.

If so, what the advantages and disadvantages of using the TAG M24LR (TAG Type 5) instead of M24SR Series (TAG type 4)?

M24SR family and M24LR04E are NFC compliant, based on different ISO protocol ,

M24SR manage files , and M24LR manage memory bytes , but both can contain NDEF files .
