CubeMX support for LCDs is not very intuitive, does it even work. Is there a new better version coming?

Hello,

Can you tell us what improvements you would like to see done?

Thanks

Hello

In Pinout /configuration/Peripherals I enabled the FSMC inteface. First I could not see anything about LCD. And there was little to choose from. I enabled NE1 chip select. But what is NE1? Then I clicked the memory type button, but LCD is not a memory device.

This was not very intuitive, I had to click everywhere I could. And there is still a warning about a memory conflict which I can't understand and cannot copy to a file for instance. And dont know how to resolve.

Hello,

You indeed need to select the Chip Select, then the memory type as LCD interface, the LCD register select for bus address. and finally the data bus width (8 or 16 bits).

Best regards
