I have recently started looking into designing an AC/DC converter with the rating as mentioned in the subject. I am looking into possible solutions or reference designs provided by ST for this purpose. My goal is to keep the design as small as possible using SMD components where possible. Overall until now I have seen many reference designs using Transformers and bridge rectifiers which certainly do the job but on the other hand they are way to big for embedded application. I would be thankful if anyone here could help me in this regard.
