STM32F0 JTAG/Boundary Scan

Hello

I created a design with a STM32F072RB Controller, and I had a meeting about testability/ Design for Test (DFT) of the board.

The feedback was: The controller does not support JTAG Boundary scan. Boundary Scan would be nice to switch some of the I/O's while testing. Now I have some questions:

1. Is it true that STM32F0 does not support JTAG Bounary scan? What me intended to this is, that there is no bsdl-file in the download section of this device.

2. Is there an option to do that on another way? My first idea was, that this also should be available over swd, but I found only a very short documentation, which told, that this is possible, but not exactly how...

3. What is the concept of STM32? Are there some devices in the F0 range, which supports boundary scan? Or is boundary scan just available on the more powerful parts, like F4 and F7?

Thank you for your response!

regards

Matthias

I think it comes from the CM0 only providing SWD connectivity, and not JTAG
