I can't seam to find a 3D model for the new stm32f746 discovery board.

I found the production files for altium designer in schematic pack but *.pcbdoc file is missing so I can not create it myself.

Could you please also add *.pcbdoc file into the schematic pack or at least export 3D model of the board and put it somewhere on the site?

Liking the optimism, but after looking for 3D models of STM components I don’t think you’re going to

get what you want as they don’t seem to do 3D models of their components let alone whole assemblies.

I wonder why not?

When I need a model I can usually find generic versions of what I need at 3Dcontentcentral.com else

I sketch it up in FreeCAD.

Yeah but the whole PCB is designed in Altium designers where you go just:

File > Export > STEP 3D, save, OK - that is all you need to do

they my not have 3D models for all the osmponenst on the board but even just PCB model would make designing shield board much easier.

But they put (almost)entire Altium projcet in this file

www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/layouts_and_diagrams/schematic_pack/stm32f746g-disco_sch.zip

found here http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/FM116/SC959/SS1532/LN1848/PF261641

But if they would leave *.pcbdoc file in the zip folder I could do it myself. Even if I would have to add/create 3D models for all the components I would be done before lunch.
