what purpose having Current Sense A and Current Sense B pins in L298 ? does it mean we can monitor the current of the motor using shunt resistor ?

Thank you for your answers.

The L298 is a dual H-bridge. With SenseA you can sense the current through one H bridge, while with SenseB you can sense the other. This would allow you to use 1 or two sense resistors, but not three like usually in a BLDC configuration.
