We are using VIPer12A in our Flyback isolated SMPS. The circuit starts at minimum 20Vrms. There is no information about the minimum Vrms value that the IC starts. The datasheet says IC starts working Vddon which is normally 14,5Vdc. So we re supplying our IC from the aux winding of transformer. I wonder if the transformation value of the transformer is good enough to supply that Vddon (14,5V) at lower Input AC voltages Can IC start?
Our purpose is to make an SPMS that works both 24Vdc and the wide range AC voltages. Is this possible?
