Hello,

we are using a stm32f4 with a LTDC Display. CubeMX set's the speed of all Pins to LOW. Same problem with the MCO Pin.

I hope this information will help you improve your products.

Yours faithfully

Speed is really rise or fall time of the pin.

Hi

Tekampe.Jens

,

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, indeed, the maximum output speed for all LTDC pins is set to Low. And you can modify this speed to set your own speed.

You have an example in figure 39 in the

http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/group0/25/ca/f9/b4/ae/fc/4e/1e/DM00287603/files/DM002876pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM002876pdf

. For me, here is no issue and no enhancement here to add.

If I misunderstand something, do not hesitate to reply on this post.

Defaulting to low toggle speed is definitely the right way for CubeMX.

That reduces unnecessary high frequency contents in the signals and thus minimizes possibly unwanted EMC issues.

Hi

Roehrig.Valentin

‌,

generally i'm on your side, but the LCD-Displays are working at several MHz. So you have to turn it to high speed.

Or are there displays with low speed which i don't know about?

Thanks for the help.
