I trying to flash the new image file from ST website that new image file was flashed and working.

Now, trying to change old image file (Pre-installed image file) which comes with STM32f769I DISCO board. then I searched in ST website found one STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.4.0 image file and flashed into STM32f769I DISCO board. but the GUI was not same as old image file(Pre-installed image file).

Please help me where I get old image file(Pre-installed image file) for STM32f769I DISCO board.

Hi kamatchi.thangaraj,

The package STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.4.0  contains various examples.

You should look to the demonstration available under STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.4.0\Projects\STM32F769I-Discovery\Demonstration.

Hi Mayla,

Thank for your Response,

As you mentioned  STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.4.0\Projects\STM32F769I-Discovery\Demonstration working, but it's not new image file(pre-installed STM32F769INH DISCO board GUI)  it looks like STM32F746G  GUI !!!.

But we need switch STM32F769INH DISCO board GUI and Firmware.

Please kindly support to resolve this issue.

Under the folder  STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.4.0\Projects\STM32F769I-Discovery\Demonstration\Binary, you find 2 hex files:

- STM32CubeDemo_STM32769I-DISCO_V1.0.1.hex

- STM32769I-DISCO_DEMO_V1.0.0_FULL.hex

STM32769I-DISCO_DEMO_V1.0.0_FULL.hex is the pre-installed image provided as demonstration.

In the package release note, you find this note:

Demonstrations Firmware for STM32F7x9I_EVAL and STM32F769I-Discovery, provided within this package, don't embed:

- TouchGFX demonstration module. Free evaluation version of the TouchGFX demonstration, based on Draupner Graphics’ commercial graphic library, is available at www.touchgfx.com/stmicroelectronics

- Embedded Wizard demonstration module. Free evaluation version of the TARA Systems demonstration, is available at www.embedded-wizard.de/stm32

Hi,

We have gone through website and in the support devices for ST-LINK/V2 in-circuit Debugger/Programmer STM32f7 Series Micro-Controller is not mentioned.

We would like to know whether ST-LINK/V2 in-circuit Debugger/Programmer Support STM32f7 Series Micro-Controller?

Thanks and Regards,

Yes,

this should be possible. When you take a look on some F7 nucleo boards, the ST-Link is present there as well, version 2-1. But the version should be only matter of firmware, which is upgradable...

Have a nice day,
