Hi all,

i use an accelerometer  LISDH12, and it have a very high consumption (400 uA).

I have this configuration;

  • SCL/SDA connect to vdd with 4.7k
  • CS to high because i want to use a i2c
  • SDA0 put on ground

Someone have a suggestion about this problem?

Thanks,

Anna

I suppose the sensor is LIS2DH12.

You didn’t specify if the sensor is running and what is the ODR, it has an influence on current consumption.

Also connecting SDO/SA0 pint to ground will induce

mailto:~130uA@3.3V

current. So if possible connect the SDO/SA0 pin to Vcc and use the second I2C address.

Best regards

Miroslav

HI Miroslav,

The sensor is power off. I set the register CTRL_REG1 to 00. So i exspect that the consumption is 0.5 uA.

Furthermore, if i use a package STEVAL-MKI135V1 on my evaluation board it works correctly, the consumption is ok. But on my prototype is high.

Thanks,

Anna
