Now I want to use ST6203 I/O directly to drive six opto-coupler. use 3 high current i/O drive 3 opto-coupler. the left opto-coupler use general I/O. each time there are two opto-coupler is on. I want to know if it is OK? the working

temperatuse is same with the MCU.

Best Regards,

Hello Terry,

You can use several high sink I/Os at the same time

. But you need to take care about:

- the maximum current in each I/O (up to 10mA or 30ma for high sink I/O)

overstress of this parameter may latch your I/O and ultimately destroy it.

- the total current in the power supply pin (80mA\Vdd 100mA\Vss)

the second parameter is a total current for the microcontroller including the MCU core.

Overcurrent in the power supply line may fuse the bonding wire (between the pin and the actual silicon)

Be carefull about ADC conversion also: driving too much current in the IOs may also add some perturbation on the ADC line...

Thanks a lot for your help.
