First time reset problem

Hi all !

I have found a problem that I do not understand.

I am using ST7Flite29, internal oscillator, no external reset circuit and the ICP interface to flash the MCU on a design board.

When using a design and not using the eeprom everything works well.

But when trying a test-design also activating the eeprom the MCU does not starts working at all.

Flashing with an ''non-eeprom design'' again and everything is working….

But !

If I flash a new empty MCU with a ''eeprom-software''.

Then starts my design board = power up.

Then grounding the reset pin for a second the design are running correct.

After this first hardware reset I can repeatedly flash the same MCU with ''non-eeprom designs'' and back to ''eeprom-designs'' and all works fine!

No extra resets are needed.

I’ve got “a feeling that a ''eeprom-design'' has to produce a “initial-first-time-in-use reset when flashing a new ( empthy ) MCU.

Have you any suggestions or am I missing something ?

BR
