Hello all,

I have a question: what is the purpose of the floating interrupt input and how can I use them?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Thilo,

the floating interrupt input is usefull if your signal which is generating this interrupt is for example a TTL of CMOS signal. In that case you don't need an internal pull-up resistor.

An internal pull-up would cause an additionl current consumption if the external signal is low. Especially during a low-power mode this extra current should be avoided.

This give you the option to use a pullup/down resistor of your choice rather than using the builtin pullup resistor.
