problem with 36 Mhz cristal

I've drawn a card around the upsd3434a at 36 Mhz. I try first with a 12Mhz cristal with 2 capacitor (10pF) and it works well. It works well also with a 24Mhz cristal. But with a 36 Mhz there is no oscillation (I use also 10pF capacitors) ? Does I need to use a cristal resonator like on the DK3200 kit ?

Thanks,

Sebastien

Which voltage do you use?

Thanks

In fact there is an another problem with high speed quartz : current 36 Mhz cristal use the third overtone so it result a oscillation rate at one-third the desired speed so 12 Mhz. It's necessary to use a 36 Mhz cristal in is fundamental mode.
