ST10 external RAM interface

The ST10 when configured for an external 16 bit data bus can write 8 or 16 bits of data by using the WRL- and WRH- signals.

What it appears to be impossible to do is to connect the ST10 directly to any of the standard 16 bit RAM chips that use the BHE- and BLE- signals (Cypress, Renesas etc) - without using glue logic which will slow down the interface.

This seems difficult to accept so maybe I have missed the obvious.

Can anyone advise.

Thanks,

Mike

Could you please give some memory part numbers example, it would be easier for me to verify?
