hi,

im a new user of the ST7LITE, the installation process of the application and the USB debuger went ok, and i have managed to run the asm sample program.

i dont know what went wrong, but now, when i try to run the program again i receive a ''communicatio error''. the inDart Diagnostic program is ok.. and i event tried to re-install the application. nothing works - is there any idea?

If you select ''Disable Option bytes'', put the jumper to provide clock to MCU from ICC connector and enter debug, do you still have the problem?

The problem is because the device you used did not find the clock specified in its option bytes. So, you should select the ''Disable option bytes'' option in which case the device enters ICC mode without considering the option bytes programmed in it, but in this case it uses the external clock from the in-DART dongle board. The ICC jumper on the board connects this clock from the dongle (coming through the HE10 ICC connector) to the oscin clock of the device.
