When I re-program STFLITE05 that previously had read protection set, the internal oscillator runs slow. I need to remove and replace the part.

I'm afraid it a bit of a catch 22 as they say.

The internal calibration values are held in Flash/eeprom depending on device.

All is ok the first time you program the device, as soon as you clear the readout bit (after being set) the flash is erased and so are the calibration values.

The values default to 0xFF which is why the device will run slower.
