Where can I find how to make a .mak and a .lkf file?

Nice to see you here.

I want to know how to handle and make a .mak file and a .lkf file.

Can I find them somewhere?

you can find sample workspace in toolchain directory

c:\Program Files\STM\stst7toolchain\stvd7\emu3\samples

Which device and compiler you are using??

You can also find it with the software codes attached with the various application notes and ST7 software library available on this same site. You have to configure certain parameters(like for example: Compiler options, memory model, Start Address etc) in .mak & .lkf files depending up on your application.

Hi Musu,

a .mak file recompiles your application if it detects that one (or more) of the source or intermediate files has been saved later than the executable file.

In it, you define the conditions for compiling, linking or both.

A .lkf file, is the linker file you use for link your project.

I've attached a working example (for ST72F521) made with STVD7 and Cosmic compiler.

I'm very sorry.

In my first query, I should describe my development kit.

But I didn't.

My one is Cosmic C compiler & STVD7 (Indart ST7).

Yes, I'm Italian, I'm surprised you are a Juventus fan!!!

Unfortunately I'm a Milan fan, but I think Juventus is a great team too!!!
