Can anybody tell what is the diffrence between Hall effect sensor and BEMF control of BLDC in the chance of commutation failure?

I need to deceide which way to go.Sensorless would be better for cost consideration, but how about the relaibility ?

With a correct design, bemf detection is as reliable as hall effect sensors commutation, I have designs running up to 70000 rpm's where the motor never stalled. sensorless is the way to go
