Please double check that you have selected the battery backup option in PSDsoft express and that this option has been programmed into the device.

If in my board I have a battery of 3,3 volts. ( uPSD3312) when I switch off the supply the dates recorded in xdata remain or dissapear. Because the problem that I have if when I switch off and switch off quiclky the dates in xdata have changed and my application programme doesn´t work Ok.

the pin PC2 is programmed like vstby and has been programmed like SRAM standby voltage input, I think the pin is well programmed, so at this moment I don´t know what it´s happenning? Tanks for your help

There are 3 possible causes to your problem:

1 - Some defect in your battery backup circuit (or in the battery itself).

2 - Your main supply is RFI sensitive.

3 - A software problem, like the one suggested by Phaze.

Assuming that you have checked your software and eleminated possibility 3, try the following:

1 - Switch off the power SMOOTHLY, by unplugging the AC cord for example.

2 - Discharge the main capacitor just after the AC rectifier, using a small resistor (about 100 ohms). Don't short it: this would cause a spike.

3 - Wait a minute an switch on again the power. Are your data ''desprogrammed'' or not?
