Hi,

I use ST7lite29 with internal oscillator.

My options bytes are:

Write Protection: OFF

Read Out: ON

SEC: 4K

OSCRANGE: Reserved

WDG_HALT: not reset in halt

WDG_SW: Software

LVD: medium

OSC: RC oscillator ON

PLL Enalbled and X8

Programmer: Indart STX

With this setting the watchdog don't work. :-[

If I setting:

OSCRANGE: MP:2-4MHz work!!! :D

Question:

is it correctly setting ''MP:2-4MHz'' when I use internal OSC?

What's I must select?

Thanks

Hi Cicciounico,

in my opinion ''reserved'' means reserved for further application and should not be used.

Have a look at chapter 15 DEVICE CONFIGURATION:

Note: When the internal RC oscillator is selected,

the OSCRANGE option bits must be kept at their

default value ...

The default value for OSCRANGE is 111 = External Clock Source: CLKIN at PB4.

In my application it works fine with this setting.
