This is a girl calling help on a small island ! I took the designing of power line transceiver board as my final paper ,I use the chip of ST7538 and C-51kinds of controlling chips . I do not know weather somebody has the demo C51 programmes that can serve the board to do its job. thanks everyone

Is this chip an so old-fasioned chip that no one use it ??? How are you guys using when performing power line communications ? just say something here please !!!

Hi,

The ST7538 is a new chip, that's why there's not much ‘in the field’ experience out there. I suspect that you’re probably the first to use the device with the 80C51 MCU.

You could talk to Fiona, (see previous forum messages on the 753

. She is working with the Atmel AT90S2331 MCU. I don’t know either of these processors, but perhaps she would help you, as she is also working on her final year project with the 75 Her code might be transferable or convertible and she might be kind enough to give you a copy. You could always ask, what the worst that can happen?
