Hi,

we expect to use a STR710F in a USB device.

For this reason we should use a 16MHz external clock generator (multiplied by factor 3 to reach the 48MHz USB sampling clock).

My question is: is possible to run the ARM core at higher speed than 48MHz e.g. 64MHz in a device having a singel 16MHz clock source?

thanks

Hi RISC,

thanks for your answer, but I am still little confused. The approach is to feed the same external clock source to both PLL1 and 2 inputs ?
