91x_vect.s does not change

Hi

i run programs from the ram.

i need to disable nested interrupts. i did this in 91x_vect.s but

whenever an interrupt occurs the program control goes to a specific flash location that looks exactly like the original 91x_vect.s.

right now the flash has a simple program with the original 91x_vect.s

what should i do to make changes in the 91x_vect.s to take effect.
