Flash ST10F272 with ST10 Flasher tool

Hello to all,

I am currently using a ST10F269 and began porting/adapting SW to a ST10F272Z. And now

I have some problems to flash my ST10F272. When I open the ST10 Flasher tool (Version 2.3C) the tool trys to load the monitor and I get the following error-message:

*LOAD MONITOR-->ERROR

Description: InitMonitor failed.

Monitor: BSL: No aknowledge Received.

Reset your application and reload the monitor.

Com: Receive: Timeout or Lost of data

The status of the Com Port is always ok and no program occupied the serial interface.

And I had also checked the portpins P0L.4 for low signal and P0L.5 for high signal. I think, this is all correct.

Can anyone help me to solve my problem?

Thanks in advance,

Stefan

Hello Stefan_Mueller,

The ST10Flasher version 2.3C doesn't support the ST10F272.

To program the ST10F272, the ST10Flasher version 2.4B should be used.

This version is available on the following link:

http://www.stmcu.com/modules.php?name=mcu&file=familiesdocs&FAM=17

at the bottom of the web page.

You can also refer to the AN2143 ''Programming the ST10F27X embedded Flash

using the ST10FLASHER tool'' available also on the same link above.

Regards,

Najoua.

Hi

biuro

‌,

if you are still looking for the ST10FLASHER ver 2.4B, send us a request on

http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/online-support.html

.

I just answered to the same request for another customer, and by accident, saw yours pending within our STCommunity.

Might be too late for you, but in case it helps other ST10 users.

Best regards,

Cédric
