What is differences between L6235 and L6229 (driver for 3-phase BLDC motor) - only output current ?

I want to drive 3-phase bldc motor ( 1A max output current, 120° Hall efect decoding logic) - It really doesn't mater which chip I will use ?

The only difference is the size of integrated power mosfets (i.e. maximum current). Choosing between L6235 and L6229 and the package type (SO, PowerDIP, PowerSO) take into account power dissipation more than rated current (see datasheet and app.notes).
